Glossary of Terms
Anomalous - Acting in a way contrary to known physics.
Asset - An anomalous person or item that has been brought under Society control.
Decay - unexplained anomalous phenomenon that may serve as catalysts for other types of anomalous activity. Decay is of particular interest to the Society
Decay Activity - background anomalous behavior that can be tracked through the Decay Terminal.
Decay Event - a substantial increase in Decay Activity caused by creative works or proximity of multiple anomalous sources
Memetic Anomaly - an anomalous thought or pattern of behavior that transfers through the senses directly into the brain often without the subject’s awareness
Cognitohazard - a memetic anomaly that directly changes or interferes with a subject’s emotion, will, or action.
The BREACH - a non-physical pocket dimension that is adjacent to our own reality.
Tesseract - the known universe. It was given this name due to its similarity to the hypothetical four (4) dimensional shape according to early models created by the Architects.
